Emirates Flight Date Change Cost
Emirates ticket date change includes a mandatory and no-refundable date change fee, and sometimes a “Difference in fare and/or a no-show fee. Following are the tentative fees that may be applicable to a flight change:
Date Change Fee: Depends on the flight route, class, time, etc.
Difference in Fare (the increased amount than the previously booked ticket): Not specific (if applicable).
No-show Charge (applicable if change made within the last 24 hours before departure): Not specific (if applicable).
Agency Service Charge (if booked by an agent): 500 BDT or more.

Difference in Fare
The difference in fare is the difference in price value between the previously booked and the newly booked tickets. If the newly booked ticket is priced more than that of the previous one, the increased amount must be paid. And, if it is lower, the amount remaining is not refunded. Hence, the airline discourages travelers to reissue flights to lower-priced ones.
No-show Charge
Emirates Airlines applies a No-show charge to a flight change request made within a 24-hour period before departure. As a result, the airline inspires passengers to make such requests before 24 hours of departure. If a fight change request is made before 24 hours, only the flight change fee and the difference in fare (if applicable) will be charged by the airline.
Agency Service Charge
If you book your ticket through a travel agency, an agency service charge will be applicable. The agency charges the fee as its service charge. Most of the travel agents in Bangladesh charge an amount between BDT 500 and BDT 1000.
How To Change Emirates Flight Date
Follow the steps below to change the Emirates flight date:
Visit Emirates website and hit the “Manage Booking” menu

Emirates Flight Change Policy
- No flight date change fee is applicable if it is made within 24 hours of booking.
- Emirates airlines encourages travelers to make a ticket change request as soon as possible if badly in need.
- If you book your ticket from a travel agent, Emirates advises you to make the request through that specific agent. On the contrary, if you book it from the airline’s website or from its sales office, contact the airline’s sales office or customer service.
- Make your flight change request 24 hours before the flight departure.
- If your newly booked ticket is overpriced than that of the previous one, the difference in fare will be applicable.
- You can reissue your flight only if yours is a changeable one. Moreover, the permitted segments can only be changed.
- You can change the full flight or any segments on a single transaction. Each transaction requires a no-refundable change fee.
- All travelers possessing a seat including children and infants are charged a non-refundable ticket reissue fee.
- The reissue charge and the No-show fee are not applicable on the same flight booking. Only the higher price between the two is charged.
- If a passenger is now allowed to fly because of any document shortfall, no applicable charge is waived.
Reissue Date Limitations:
The flight change is allowed for the flights within the deadline of utilizing the original flight. Emirates allows using the reissued flights till the 330th day of the original booking. However, GDS systems allow different deadlines. Take a look at them below:
